The body of the mattress consists of a combination of two layers: lying surface with a viscoelastic foam and support layer from standard PU foam.
 
VISKOMATT 30 and 50
A lying surface with a viscoelastic foam and a support layer from cold foam.
 
Because of two different types of foam the mattress helps to provide pressure relief and also ensures patient comfort.

Viscoelastic foam

Viscoelastic foam is often referred to as “memory foam”. It reacts to body heat and body weight. This allows the body to sink into the mattress slightly, providing optimal support and adjustment to the body’s contours.

Edge Zone Reinforcement

Perfectly fitted reinforced edges with a width of 10 cm do not make any height difference. Provides relief from patient self-mobilization and prevents patient falls.

Wave Contour Cut

With this technology, we reach a higher resting comfort, as well as a better pressure release.

Tricot Sock

Special textile layer between foam and cover reduces shear and friction forces by cover and tricot, which follow the patient and do not get stuck on the mattress. The patient does not feel turning movement during repositioning on the bed.

Infection control

The cover is bacteria and virus-proofed, preventing cross-infection from mattress foams.
